provide to Us when You access our website and/or mobile application (collectively, “Site”), purchase, access and/or download any free or purchased products, courses or services (“Services”), or engage with Us on social media. This Privacy Policy also sets out Your rights
with respect to Your personal information that We collect. In this Privacy Policy “You” or “Your” refers to any individual who accesses our Sites, accesses our Services or engages with Us on social media.

This Policy is legally binding. Please read this carefully to understand Our Policy regarding your information and how We will treat it. If You do not agree with our Policy, Your choice is not to use our Site. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to this Policy. This Policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of this Site after We make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Policy periodically for updates.

We collect certain types of information from You when You visit Our Site, access Our Services, subscribe to Our newsletter, fill out a form, download resources, make purchases, email, text, take a survey or interact with Us on social media. Personal
Personally identifying information such as Your name, billing and/or shipping address, mobile numbers, email addresses and other demographic information, such as but not limited to Your age and gender.

Financial
Financial information (such as credit card of bank account numbers) in connection with any transaction You make on Our Site. We store limited financial data, as most financial data is transferred to third-party payment processors We use. We strongly encourage You to review the legal terms of third-party payment providers, such as but not limited to Square, Stripe, Paypal and Thrivecart. User Account
In order to purchase or access certain content or courses, We may require You to create a user account and provide Your email address and create a unique password. We collect data from our User Accounts regarding products and courses purchased and/or downloaded in order to personalize Your experience, track Your Use and for other legitimate business interests.  For Your security, we do not have access or knowledge of Your password and it is Your sole responsibility to keep the password confidential and not share your account details with other people.

Computer, Browser and Mobile Data
Computer and connection information such as statistics on Your page views, traffic to and from your Site, Your unique resource locator (“URL”), advertisement data, Your internet protocol (“IP”) address, Your browsing history, and Your Site log information.  If You access our Site via Your mobile phone, We may collect information about Your device such as but not limited to, the model, manufacturer, device identification and Your location information.

Social Media Identification
Information from any social media marketing platforms and applications including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Youtube, Snapchat, Twitter, Tiktok, which may include Your name, username on any of these platforms, locations, email, age, gender, profile picture and any other public information You have included on Your social media profiles.  If You want to limit this data, You should review the policies and security settings of each social media service respectively. 

Sensitive Information
We will not request sensitive information from You at any time. Please do not submit any sensitive data to Us, via public postings, email correspondence with Us, or any other method unless required for a specialized program agreed upon in advance. At times, depending on the program, if coaching is agreed upon in advance any sensitive information discussed will be done so and conducted in an exclusive manner–directly in person, or over encrypted mobile/video call if it is a distance session. In these sessions, it is at Your discretion as We cannot promise total and absolute security, therefore We advise to not share information ever, such as Your social security number. If You do share sensitive information such as personal health data, genetic data, or information related to Your ethnic heritage, religious beliefs or criminal history.  If You do send us this information, then by doing so, You are consenting to Our use, storage and processing of this information in accordance with this Policy.

Other / Miscellaneous
From time to time You may voluntarily give Us other information in order to complete a form, enter a giveaway or to participate in a survey.

Voluntarily and Manually
We collect information when You voluntarily and manually navigate through our Site, such as when You shop Our courses, services, access certain content, sign-up for Our newsletter, submit a form, send Us questions, or interact with Us through this Site. We may also ask You for information when you enter a giveaway, participate in a promotion, or report a problem on our Site. Some of the information collected may include usage details, along with other personal data on your account like name and email.

If you do contact Us, you may also be asked to provide:
– records and copies of your correspondence
– responses to surveys with the intent of collection for research purposes

On some occasions you may be asked to share financial information before placing an order and should any issue arise, share with Us the details provided for the fulfillment.

We collect information that is sent to Us automatically from Your website browser or mobile device, such as Your IP address, operating system, browser type, date and time of Your visit, page(s) You visit and length of time You spend on each page. The information we do receive may depend on your browser or device settings.  Information received from Your web browser or mobile device is typically not, in and of itself personally identifiable. However, We may combine it with other information in an attempt to identify You, or We may combine it with information that does identify You. 

This helps us to improve Our Site and create a more personalized experience in an effort to:

– Website Beacons: Pages of our website, or some of our emails contain clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs. This permits Us for example to track users who have visited those pages (or opened an email) along with provide us information on other related website statistics. This is intended to help Us improve, through being able to record popular website content and verifying system and server integrity.
– Social Widgets: These buttons are provided by third-party social media providers that allow You to interact and access certain social media services when You view a page on our Site.  These widgets may collect browsing data, which may be sent to the respective third-party social media provider.
– Clickstream Data: This information is used for internal purposes for research and development, user analysis and business decision making, all of which is for the intention of improving Services to Our users. The statistics received provide no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information, but may also be provided to third-parties for data processing and analyzing. It is collected through HTTP protocol elements, along with URL, clickstream data reciting number of hits and visits to the Site.

We may partner with other third-party analytic companies which may also use cookies or other tracking technologies to analyze visitors use of Our Site to assist Us with improving content and overall use of the Site. The Way We Store Your Information
While our Company is Canadian, our Site is hosted by servers primarily located in Canada and the United States.  Accordingly, We may transmit Your information outside of the province and/or country where You live, and transferred data may be subject to the laws of those countries. If You reside in the European Union (“EU”), Your information will be transferred internationally to those servers.  We have taken all reasonable measures to ensure that We use website hosting services and third-party processors located in Canada and the United States, which have proper safeguards in place, however We make no guarantees.  It is Your responsibility to review all third-party applications terms and policies, and to review website policies that You may be redirected to when using Our site.

Third-Party Processing of Information
Trusted third-parties such as Our email provider can receive personal information in order for Us to contact You, for example Your merchant account to process payments and Google or social media accounts in order to run our affiliates. We also share information with third-parties in order to market their products and services to you if you have not chosen to opt-out. 

We do not control these third-parties’ tracking technologies, nor what they do etc. Should they be using tracking on you, there will be an option for you to opt-out.

Retention of Information
We genuinely retain Your information only as long as necessary to provide You with the Services that comply with Our legal obligations. or until You request that we delete Your information. Any information We no longer need, will be permanently deleted.

We respect Your rights to your information and data.  You have the right to access, correct or request restriction or deletion of Your information. You have the right to request how We use Your personal information and data collected, as required by applicable law.  Upon any request related to Your personal privacy, We reserve the right to first ask for evidence of Your personal identity, before we take any action.

If you wish to have access to information retained by any third-parties, including those to whom We’ve transmitted Your information with the self-interest to delete Your information, You will need to contact those third-parties directly to do so. Upon request, We will provide a list of all third parties to whom We have transmitted Your information.

choices about how we use and disclose your information

We respect Your choice regarding what personal information You provide to Us, therefore we have created different modalities for You to have more control over what information We receive. These include options on:
– Tracking Technologies and Advertising; By default, Your browser should alert You when cookies are being sent. You have the option to refuse or disable cookies, but parts of the site may become inaccessible or not function properly if You do so.
– Third-Party Advertising; At time of providing your email, You can select to opt-out when confirmation of enrolment is sent. This will prohibit the continued share of your personal information for promotional purposes with any unaffiliated or non-agent third parties.
– Promotional Offers; If you do not wish to have your contact information enrolled in a promotional email sequence, but you receive marketing offers, you can send us a direct response back or contact [email protected] to opt-out from future marketing features.  This opt-out does not apply to information provided from Us in regards to a product purchase, or Services along with other transactions.

We take steps to protect Your data, however We provide no guarantee that Your data is secure.  We take all reasonable precautions to protect Your information. When You submit information through Our Site, Your information is automatically under our protection, offline and online.  Whenever We collect information, it is encrypted and transmitted to Us by secure servers. Only personnel from The Chrysalis Coach who need the information to perform a specific task (for example billing, or customer service), are granted access to personally identifiable information.  The computers/servers that We use to keep personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

password protection

To receive access to learning material You must create a user account, You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password. You are also responsible for all activities whether by Your or others, that occur under your username or password and within your account.  We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from Your failure to protect Your username, password or account information.  If You share this confidential information with others, they may be able to obtain Your Personal Data at Your own risk. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your user account and permit us to take the action necessary to assist you with receiving back access, including but not limited to deleting the original user account.

how you can access and correct your information

You can login to Our third-party host Site to access, update or delete any of Your personal information that You have provided for Us, by accessing Your account profile page. You may also email at [email protected] to request access to, correct or delete any personal information that You have provided for us. We cannot delete Your personal information except by also deleting Your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if We believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

If You delete your User Contributions from the Site, copies of Your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or might have been copied or stored by other Site users. Proper access and use of information provided on the Site, including User Contributions, is also governed by our Terms and Conditions.

opting out of communication

At any time, You may opt out of communication from Us, such as email newsletters, simply by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any email You receive from Us. We reserve the right to maintain a database of past email subscribers and to use this information as reasonably necessary in Our business and as provided by law. Your information will be shared with reasonably necessary parties for the ordinary course of conducting Our business, such as through marketing campaigns. We do not ever sell Your information to third parties.
